My Story
I grew up in Bacolod City in the Philippines, where most of my family still lives. We remain very close, and thanks to technology, we stay connected across continents and time zones.
I came to the United States in 1992 for college, married my wife Kate in 1998, and we began building our life together soon after. We are blessed with four children—Maggie, Anna, Carlo, and Lizzie—who continue to bring us joy, perspective, and purpose every day.
Maggie and Lizzie were born with a rare neurological condition, SSADH (Succinic Semialdehyde Dehydrogenase Deficiency). Caring for them has shaped our family in profound ways and has deepened my appreciation for patience, empathy, and long-term commitment—values that also guide my professional life.
Since 2016, our family has been based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Kate’s hometown. I still spend part of the week in the Columbia, Maryland area, where I serve local clients, while also working with many clients virtually.
Before founding Percworks, I worked in technical support, web development, and consulting roles at PSINet and Inktomi, supporting organizations ranging from early-stage startups to Fortune 500 firms.
Percworks grew out of years of working closely with clients and seeing how much better technology works when it is built on trust, continuity, and clear communication. Much of my work today is relationship-based—supporting clients over many years as their needs evolve.
